Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information 24stills LLC (“24stills”, “we”, “us”) collects when you visit www.24stills.net or get in touch with us, and how we use it. We keep this to what we need to run the website and reply to you.

Who we are

24stills LLC is a video production studio based in Brooklyn, New York. If you have any questions about this policy or your information, contact us at hello@24stills.net.

What we collect

• When you contact us. If you email us or send an inquiry through our wedding inquiry form, we receive what you share: your name and email address, and any details you add, such as your partner’s name, wedding date, location, guest count, the collection you’re interested in, how you found us, and your message.
• Website analytics. With your consent where it is required, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site: for example, which pages are viewed, the approximate location (country or city), and the type of device and browser.
• Technical information. Like any website, our hosting and content providers process the technical information needed to deliver the site, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent spam on our form.

How we use it

• to reply to your inquiry and discuss a project with you;
• to understand and improve how the website is used;
• to keep the website secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before analytics cookies are set. Elsewhere, analytics is on by default and you can turn it off at any time: choose “Decline” in the cookie banner, or select “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page. When analytics is declined, no analytics cookies are stored and Google receives only limited signals without cookies.

• _ga and _ga_S4WKLMR43V: Google Analytics cookies used to distinguish visitors. They last up to two years unless you decline analytics or clear your cookies.

We also store two small items in your browser that the site needs to work: your cookie choice (so we don’t ask again) and, for the length of your visit, whether you’ve already seen the opening animation. They are not used to track you. Films on this site are streamed by Mux, which collects anonymous playback quality information without setting cookies.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run the website. They process information on our behalf and only for these purposes:

• Vercel: website hosting
• Sanity: content management and image delivery
• Mux: video streaming
• Resend: delivers form submissions to us by email
• Google: Google Analytics, and Google Workspace for our email

Some of these providers store or process information in the United States and other countries. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Inquiries and emails: as long as needed to reply and, if we work together, for our business records.
• Analytics data: for the retention period set in Google Analytics (no longer than 14 months).

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@24stills.net. Depending on where you live (for example in the EEA, the UK or California), you may have additional rights under local law, including the right to complain to your data protection authority. You can withdraw your analytics consent at any time through “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page.

Children

This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
